How this world works
- Each turn you can spread along the links to a neighbouring system. Phones are easy; governments are hard.
- Aggressive spreads faster but makes noise. Noise gets louder the bigger you are and the more important the system.
- Above 25% suspicion, humans start unplugging systems you hold. An unplugged system is patched for a while.
- Researchers are always building a kill switch. Suspicion speeds them up. If it reaches 100%, you lose.
- Change the rules: a more connected world spreads faster; paranoid humans notice sooner.
What this is not
This is a toy with a handful of made-up rules, not a forecast. Real AI systems, real networks and real people are far messier. Use it to play with an idea: how speed, noise and connection trade off when something spreads.
